The Lost BodyBoard...

Brent impressing us!!

Family pic in Puket-the only photo!
While I am writing, Cally , who is just doing the dinner dishes- suddenly said "hello" to someone? To a local who has just boarded our boat unexpectantly! As Vince says-"We have our first shopper:)-as we have our lights on  to say the shop is open for business:)" Hey maybe he is coming to tell us something uselful:) - like where to get fresh bananas?! (you can see that we have run out of fresh fruit and veggies!)
Brent armed with the little Indonesian dictionery-has gone to chat to him! There is always something or someone to surprise us on this Journey-even when we think the day is over:)It is actually 10.45 pm already! Louie has allowed his crew Trav and Vince to have their first beer since our arrival 2 weeks ago:)

simoleu island:)

Just finishing off- Vince caught a thunderous wave on the boogy-board  today and it lashed off of his leg and broke free washing up over vicious coral onto rocks! Too get it back was a mission.

Vince having Fun!

It was hilarious because when we sailed (joyfully to some of us and with trepidation for others:) )out of Langkowi  heading for Indo;we sailed past a boogyboard floating in the opposite direction to us (namely heading back toward the Marina). I casually pointed it out to Brent as it was only a few metres from us. I thought Brent may want to look at it and see if we could use it. Brent was not interested as he said we have our own two boards. I watched it disappearing behind us and thought to myself how funny it would be if it was actually in some weird way-ours! While I was thinking this...Brent was casually walking around the boat checking our boards that were all strapped onto the side of the yacht. Next thing he came running to the helm to turn the boat around! Our blue boogyboard was NOT in its holder! And-...turns out that the board drifting out at sea was ours- dog teeth bite marks and all:) How it got out to sea is a mystery! The marina is inland...so it either blew off the boat in a big wind over the past 4 days and then it meandered its way out to sea , or it dropped off when we sailed into Langkowi four days before:)
