I think that we are in Day 3 since we sailed out of Langkowi. This kind of sailing where money is not our primary objective, is so TIMELESS. None of us are wearing our watches and whenever I ask what the date or the time is, a variety of dates and times echo back to me.
Heading to the waves:))) |
Todays sail has been in flat but choppy ocean. Not a little tweak on the lines UNTIL half an hour ago when Travis saw movement in the water and Caden truimphantly reeled in a beautiful yellowfin tuna:) he was so proud and made me photograph it from all angles.
He just loves sushi and we have been so lucky to have a tuna sushi snack each day on this journey so far, since we left Langkowi. The power of positive thinking- Caden had asked Brent if we could have sushi today and Brent had said yes if we caught a tuna!
Now I sit jotting this all down while keeping a beady eye on all the lines!
I even pulled one in just now after convincing myself that there may be something on the lure:)

The sun is sinking slowly to mark another full day of sailing and while Colby Caillet sings to us in the cockpit, I look around to see what everyone else is up to .
Brent has become a potterer and tinkerer:) It is so nice to see him relaxing. He is dismantling and servicing his fishing reels. The children are all playing Monopoly with Travis and Vince in the saloon. Thank goodness i anticipated their boredom on these long sailing trips. Louie has been very quiet and scarce today. I am only guessing but I think that he is sending loved ones his energy and thoughts:) I have noticed how thin Louie is getting on this trip and with his long hair tied back in a ponytail, Louie is looking quite Zenlike:)
